How FLYP integrations work.

Integration depth varies per customer and platform. At a baseline, FLYP receives a regularly-synced employee list — names, work emails, start dates, anniversaries, location and role — via secure data sync. Deeper integrations (real-time webhooks, custom field mapping, two-way status updates) are scoped per program. Talk to sales for current integration scope on your specific HRIS.

Only the data needed to run the merch program: employee name, work email, start date, work anniversary, country/region for shipping, and optionally role or team for segmentation. Sensitive data (compensation, performance, personal addresses unless self-supplied) never enters FLYP. Address collection is self-serve via secure links sent to the employee.

All data sync runs over encrypted channels (TLS in transit, encrypted at rest). FLYP follows SOC 2-aligned controls, signs DPAs for EU/UK customers, and supports SSO for the company admin portal. Employee personal addresses are stored only when the employee submits them via their personalized self-serve link.

FLYP supports HiBob, BambooHR, Personio, Deel, Remote and Gusto as headline integrations, plus Workday and custom HRIS via secure CSV sync or managed API. If your platform isn't listed, we'll scope a managed sync — most customers are up and running within a week.

The most common triggers are: new-hire start date (welcome kit), work anniversary (recognition gift), promotion or role change (milestone gift), and offboarding (farewell kit). Company-store credits can also be issued on a recurring schedule (annual swag allowance) or one-off (event participation, perfect attendance).

Yes. Every FLYP program supports a manual fallback — upload a CSV of recipients, or add employees one-by-one in the company admin portal. The HRIS integration removes the spreadsheet step; it isn't a hard prerequisite for running a merch program.
