What Deel data does FLYP read?
Worker name, work email, start date, work anniversary, country (for shipping and duties), and optionally role or team for segmentation. Sensitive data (compensation, tax forms, identity documents) never enters FLYP. Personal shipping addresses are collected self-serve via secure links sent to the worker.
How does FLYP handle international shipping and duties?
FLYP makes each item at the nearest of its 15 production sites to keep shipping local where possible, and delivers to 190+ countries. Duties and taxes are handled at the program level (DDP or DAP, configurable per country). One consolidated invoice and country-level delivery tracking.
Can Deel-triggered kits be overridden manually?
Yes. The company admin portal lets program owners pause a trigger, swap the kit for a specific hire, add a one-off recipient who isn't in Deel, or hold kits for batch shipping. The Deel sync gives you a default workflow; the portal gives you the override.
Is Deel worker data secure inside FLYP?
Yes. All data sync runs encrypted (TLS in transit, encrypted at rest), with DPAs available for EU/UK customers. SSO is supported for the company admin portal. Worker data is only stored as long as needed to run the active programs.
